DESCRIPTION:In an effort to provide more context to our Sept 10th presentation by Roo George-Warren from the Catawba Nation, we will be going on a guided walk at the Catawba Cultural Center in Fort Mill, SC.\nBecause the cultural center is providing a group program, this is a paid event and requires registration on our member website ( https://northcarolinanativeplantsociety.wildapricot.org/event-5374607 ). Tickets are $10 each, with a limit of 25 registrations. Payment will be collected by Craig Maxwell at the hike, accepting cash, Venmo, Apple Pay, or Cash app.\nJoin one of their educators (Dr. Robert Carter), on a guided nature trail walk along a portion or the entire 1.2 mile out and back trail. The subjects discussed on this walk may include plant identification, wildlife, history, storytelling, and songs.\n
