DESCRIPTION:Learn how to control invasive Tree of Heaven (Ailanthus) using the hack and squirt technique demonstrated by ecological consultant Sam Wright (the “EcoGuy”).  \nThen tour a private Haw River Preserve and see the August plant communities in summer mode.  Meet at 5350 E Greensboro Chapel Hill Rd, Graham, NC 27253.  Take the first/easterly (paved) or second/westerly (unpaved and slippery if wet) driveway north west of the Union Bridge over the Haw River.  We will be walking on mowed improved trails but uneven ground in spots.
