Horseshoe Farm Nature Preserve Field Ttrip
Join us and Chet Clark, Preserve Manager, to explore the various habitats of the City of Raleigh’s Horseshoe Farm Nature Preserve – 146 acres of old fields, floodplain forests, wetlands and river edges within a horseshoe shaped bend in the Neuse River.
We’ll meet at 12:30 PM at the farmhouse at the preserve to tour the interior and learn about the site’s history, before starting our walk at 1 PM.
Trip limited to 24 people. Sign up here to register. https://www.signupgenius.com/
We encourage carpooling and will help arrange meeting places. (Parking at the preserve is very limited, especially on weekends.)
