Meadow/woodland hike to Cone Cemetery on the Flat Top Trail

We will meet in the Cone Manor parking lot, which is on the Blue Ridge parkway, near mile marker 294 at 6:30pm.  This is a two mile out and back hike to the cemetery on a natural surface trail with a steady elevation climb.  We are not going all the way to the tower at the end of the trail; we are looking for late summer blooming meadow flowers and turning around at the cemetery.
