Native Plant Swap & Share for NCNPS Members – November, 2023
Make plans to attend the Central Coastal Plain Chapter’s Native Seed Swap & Share.
Bring native seeds to swap if you are able, but please attend even if you have none to donate; there should be plenty to share.

Include as much information as possible: Common and Latin names, month/ year harvested, other details (i.e. do not allow to dry out, keep refrigerated, etc).
SEED PREPARATION:
- Donate only seeds from native plants, as clean as possible
- Divide and package seeds before you arrive.
- Label each seed packet with plant’s common and botanical names and your initials, i.e. American Beautyberry/Callicarpa americana, CP
- If you are not able to divide/label seeds prior to the swap, when you arrive, there will be an area where you can do so, and someone to help. We are all learning!
