Prairie Ridge Garden tour Summer flowers and insects they attract

As promised, we’re offering another tour of the Nature Neighborhood Garden at Prairie Ridge to see the late summer flowers and the butterflies and other insects that they attract. Jennifer Tredway, Citizen Science Educator at Prairie Ridge and a NC Certified Beekeeper, (with a fondness of things that sting) will share her love and knowledge of bees, wasps, butterflies and other pollinators. Prairie Ridge is open Tuesdays -Saturdays from 9 am – 4 pm and is a great place to walk and enjoy wide open views. There’s also a nature play space for little children. Dogs have to stay home.
